Hailing from New Zealand, and trekking across the world in an effort to bring new experiences and new faces to his music, Lachlan Grant‘s unique brand of roots rock has seen comparisons to Billy Bragg, with a touch of influence from Neil Young.
His new album, “Cordial”, is a beautiful look into his experiences over the last 7 years, traveling across North America, Australia, and the remote community of Ntaria, where he met producer Phil Sawyers. “It seemed like no one would listen to or give my music any chance and then along came Phil, the most cordial person I have ever met.”
Thus began the beginning of a beautiful friendship, and inspiration for the album’s name. “Cordial” will be released on July 28th.
