Bringing with them all the influence of greats like Rush, Primus, Faith No More, and Pink Floyd, comes San Francisco based Illogistical Resource Dept. with their second album, “Transmission Cinema”. Recorded at Tranquility Base Studios in Burlingame, CA and The Locker in San Francisco, the album is set to drop on May 19th, 2015 via Aphagia Recordings.
“This album is an accomplishment between good friends,” explains bassist/vocalist Dan Menapace, “A collaboration of minds. Something to be proud of. For me, it’s very personal. It’s being a part of more than just a band…it’s being a part of friendship.”
Blending elements of rock with psychedelic, and a touch of electronic, “Transmission Cinema” is an intense look into the band’s songwriting capabilities.
